1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and shopping on GD Shop (gdsite.com.ng), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or make a purchase.

These terms apply to all visitors, customers, registered account holders, and partners who interact with our store.

2. Eligibility

To shop on GD Shop, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent
• Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• Have a valid Nigerian delivery address (or an address we can deliver to)
• Agree to receive order confirmation and delivery updates via email and/or WhatsApp

3. Your Account

When you create a GD Shop account, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate information for shipping and billing
• Updating your account details if they change (address, phone, email)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are involved in fraudulent activity.

4. Products & Partners

GD Shop lists products from two sources:

4.1 Partner Products (Affiliate & JForce)

Products sourced from our trusted partners — including AliExpress, Jumia (JForce Agent), Temu, and PreshyHair — and other verified suppliers. For Jumia, we purchase on your behalf and include the original receipt. For AliExpress/Temu, the partner ships directly to us.

We then deliver these items to your doorstep via GIG Logistics. While we verify and select these products carefully, delivery times, quality standards, and return policies may vary depending on the partner.

4.2 GD Shop Direct Products

Products under our GD Shop Direct line are personally sourced, inspected, and fulfilled by us. These items are stored and shipped from within Nigeria, offering faster delivery and direct support from our team.

5. Orders & Payment

5.1 Placing an Order

When you place an order on GD Shop, you will receive an order confirmation via email. This confirmation does not guarantee fulfillment — it simply confirms we have received your order. We may contact you to verify details before processing.

5.2 Accepted Payment Methods

• Paystack — Card payments (Visa, Verve, Mastercard)
• Bank Transfer — OPay or PalmPay transfer
• Cash on Delivery — Available for select GD Shop Direct products and locations

5.3 Pricing

All prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. For partner products (e.g., AliExpress), prices include our markup for sourcing, verification, and customer support. Shipping fees are calculated separately at checkout. A small transport fee (NGN100–NGN300) may be added to cover GIG Logistics doorstep delivery.

5.4 Order Cancellation

• By you: Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped. Contact us immediately via WhatsApp or email.
• By us: We reserve the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors, stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or partner-related issues. Full refunds will be issued for any cancelled order.

6. Shipping & Delivery

6.1 GD Shop Direct Products

Items fulfilled directly by us are shipped within 1–3 business days of order confirmation. Delivery within Nigeria typically takes 2–5 business days depending on your location.

6.2 Partner Products (Jumia, AliExpress, Temu)

Items shipped from international partners may take 2–6 weeks for delivery, depending on the partner’s processing time and shipping method. We will provide tracking information where available. Once received locally, we dispatch via GIG Logistics for final delivery.

6.3 Delivery Responsibility

• Ensure someone is available to receive the package at the delivery address
• Provide a valid and reachable phone number for the courier
• If a package is returned due to an incorrect address or unreachable recipient, re-delivery fees may apply

7. Customs Duties & Import Taxes

For products shipped from international partners (e.g., AliExpress, Temu), the Nigerian Customs Service may apply import duties and taxes. The following applies:

• Items valued under $300 USD (de minimis threshold) are generally exempt from import duty
• Items valued $300 USD and above are subject to the Import Adjustment Tax (IAT) as set by the Nigerian government
• Some categories (e.g., solar panels, specific agricultural equipment) may be duty-exempt under government policy
• Customs duties, where applicable, are the responsibility of the buyer unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product listing

8. Returns & Refunds

8.1 GD Shop Direct Products

• Items can be returned within 7 days of delivery if they are damaged, defective, or significantly different from the listing
• Items must be in original condition with packaging intact
• Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method

8.2 Partner Products

• Return eligibility depends on the partner’s individual return policy (Jumia 14 days, AliExpress 15 days, Temu 90 days, PreshyHair 7 days)
• We will assist in facilitating returns where possible, but the partner’s return terms take precedence
• Shipping costs for returns may be the buyer’s responsibility depending on the reason for return

8.3 Non-Returnable Items

• Hair extensions, wigs, and beauty products (for hygiene reasons) — unless damaged on arrival
• Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance”
• Customized or personalized products

9. Warranties & Liability

GD Shop acts as both a direct retailer (GD Shop Direct) and a partner storefront. We make every effort to ensure product accuracy and quality, but we cannot guarantee:

• That partner product descriptions, images, or specifications are 100% accurate (these are provided by our partners)
• That products from international partners will arrive without customs inspection or delays
• Uninterrupted access to our website at all times

Our maximum liability for any order is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or consequential damages arising from any purchase.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on GD Shop — including logos, product descriptions, images, page designs, and brand names — is the property of GD Shop or our partners. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.

11. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use GD Shop for any illegal or fraudulent purpose
• Place fake or test orders with no intention to pay
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise our website or customer data
• Resell GD Shop products without authorization or partnership agreement
• Leave false or malicious reviews on products

12. Partner & Vendor Terms

If you are a product owner or supplier interested in listing products on GD Shop, you must:

• Provide accurate product information, images, and specifications
• Maintain quality standards agreed upon with GD Shop
• Honor delivery timelines and provide tracking where applicable
• Accept that GD Shop reserves the right to remove any product that does not meet our standards
